VOLUNTEERING

Some important things to know about volunteering!

HELP WANTED(2).png

Team 3925 is looking for adult volunteers. Volunteering is a fun way to be part of the Team 3925 family and a part of the FIRST Competitions. Parents are strongly encouraged to show up on a class night and see how they can pitch in. Also, check out our calendar for upcoming events and join our mailing list.

The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 9:00pm at Ventura High School. During 'Build Season' from early January to mid February, the team and adults volunteering spend many additional hours working in the classroom. Volunteers are needed during 'build season' to build the practice arena and during competitions in various capacities. Building a practice arena requires wood working and mechanical skills. We provide the materials and tools.

We also have a need for volunteers for special events like Robo Rollout. This can include fundraising assistance, event planning & logistics, manning food and registration tables. During robotics competitions, volunteers are needed to be crowd control, for set-up or break-down of fields, and as referees.
